FT 1-1
Sounds like a good result after being down to 9 men.

1-1 FT
Ref way out of his depth today.
Should go back to kids football.
Not a good advert for the division.

Absolutely great result, but bit worrying two sent off, what were they sent off for? Big difference between 2 yellows and say fighting in terms of ban, hope Johnson back Tuesday? To answer my own question, seen on FB both were for 2 yellows, so should be 1 game bans; have a feeling bans take a week to come into effect though, think Ben Herd played on the Tuesday after he was sent off at Bath. Shame as Hemel would've been a much better game to miss than Ebbsfleet! Quarter of the league season completed already I'd take the current position at season's end

Great result considering we finished with 9 men and are the first team to score and take points there

A very solid all round performance and a deserved point against a decent opponent. They had the better of the chances in the first half but we seemed to have slightly more possession. After we had equalised with a brilliant Sean Lucien free kick we looked like we may go on to win but the two sendings off put an end to our chances. No complaints about the first one, Ben was booked after three fouls in the first half, then a lunge right in front of the ref sealed his fate. I was too far away to tell if it was a foul or not. Junior was booked for shoving the full back in the first half, that seemed a fair enough decision, but his second yellow was very harsh. The referee seemed to get a bit flustered and then booked Ball and Herd in very quick succession. We played with three centre halves and with Casey and Herd as wing backs. Casey did well going forward,Herd did not.He checked back inside onto his right foot on every occasion except for once when he put in a very tame cross, maybe we might consider Chappell and Herd switching, that way we will get some decent crosses coming in. My first real look at Noble, what a joy to watch. Always finding space, making himself available to receive a pass and then laying it off,he just makes it look so easy. Man of the match goes to Bender was has improved so much in the last six games. This performance gives a lot of encouragement to the thought that we are in for a very good season.

No complaints about Ben's but by the look it Junior's second yellow was dubious.

A terrific start to the season. Arise Sir Ian! Okay, maybe that's a bit over-the-top but the contrast with the same period last year is remarkable.
I've not made many games yet but following the results from afar has been great.
And it may be a year late, but The Former Chairman's target of 20 points from the first ten games has been met. Well done The Former Chairman, perhaps you could let me know the September 2017 lottery results?

They'll both miss the FA tie next Saturday so no big loss as I'm sure IA would have been juggling the team around a bit for that one anyway

St Albans Review backs up what I was saying.
This referee doesn't belong at this level.
Needs to learn his trade doing kids football and then work his way up through the leagues.

Good point. Very nervy at end with a series of silly bookings for needless fouls when down to 9, manager very pointedly doesn't shake refs hand! On to Tuesday and Hemel at the park. COYS
