At Torquay United www.trurocityfc.net/news/groundshare-update-2370670.html "The repair work needed to Treyew Road following the ground inspection by the League has now been completed and we expect to get the ground Grade B rating within the next few days. Given this situation that is no reason for Truro City to continue to groundshare with Torquay United at Plainmoor. Supporters and followers of Truro City will know that the team are currently enjoying a “purple patch” under current ground arrangements. Given our League position we do not want to take any action that may be detrimental to current form and as such we will not be taking any decision to return to Treyew Road until we play Torquay United at Plainmoor on New Year’s Day. We acknowledge that this will come as a disappointment for some supporters but hopefully it will be accepted this decision to remain during the interim period is the right one in our quest to remain in this League".

I hope they lose the rest of their games there then, no respect for supporters

I'm guessing that must be their "home" game with Torquay. Money before fans!!

Money must be at the forefront of this because surely to god they'd be dying to move back home as soon as they can. Maybe it's easier for some of the Players, maybe they've got a few for which travelling to Torquay is easier for them and they've got used to the nicer facilities at Torquay. And l guess all the Players and staff have their plans made up for Xmas and the new year and are working round that

The best odds - Truro City 15/8 Draw 14/5 Saints 23/17 Truro's odd look a bit generous to me but what do I know?

Sadly I can't be there on Tuesday, same as tomorrow for our home game v Oxford City, due to recovering from a small operation that l had recently. Yeah it's such a long journey for us to have to make, but hey-ho, that's life, but COYS and good on you any Saints Supporters that are able to make that long journey on Tuesday. COYS let's hope we can continue out good form!

It makes a difference in terms of being able to get there by public transport, between it being played on a weekday or on a Saturday. If it'd been on a Saturday you can get there and back by Train for the match within the day, just about. Whereas on a weekday you can't.

It also makes a big difference to the players who have to take two days off work

Always a bit of a gamble going down there on a Saturday by train. They have a habit of Saturday games being called off late on.

That seems to assume they all live local. Tuesday makes a difference to players and fans. Truro have a bit of a track record in postponing Saturday games to benefit from having the opposition travel down on a Tuesday

Well the main thing now is that as the game is next Tuesday, we go there and get the job done. At the moment it's going to take all the available players pulling together, today v Oxford City, as well as at Truro next Tuesday, due to the players that we haven't got available
