Sure that our new ground will coincide with pigs learning to fly.

Seems like it, doesn't it ? I didn't know, not living in St Albans, if there were any Council meetings coming up, or how our owners were getting on with the Council, regarding a new ground ? I guess we'll hear something one way or another soon.

These things take time. It took Luton 70 years, remember?
I wonder if the owners have looked for any outside investment recently, any new directors or additions to the board etc.

I am guessing there is no news. You could always ask Lawrence in person. He's at most home games.

The forums are good for information, l've always enjoyed them. I know it takes time to get a new ground, that's if we ever do get one.

We should upgrade to 4G for the time being.

We should upgrade to 4G for the time being. I think it would be good decision. Would bring in a lot more income to the club and allow the ground to be utilised by more of the public. My fear with an out of the city centre new ground, the support would dwindle. Lots of fans are happy to make the short stroll to Clarence Park. Would people really make the effort to travel over to Chiswell Green or wherever the new stadium is? Am fearful the stadium would be a white elephant unless we could become an established league club. Our history doesn't point to this being a realistic goal. But who knows. Look at teams like Burton.

To be honest, what bothers me the most is how long out owners will stick around for, if they don't get a new ground for us. We always see so much on the forum after games about where we are in the League if we are doing well, and whilst we are where we are in the league through the efforts of the management and players alike (ok we've never set this League on fire but we've competed), it'd probably get a whole lot harder if the owners walked away.

We've set this league on fire lots of times
If the owners walk away new owners will turn up
Although someone touched on above it would be good if the current owners were on the lookout for more investment and finance and directors and things

Sounds fair enough to me too, but hopefully, and more importantly, it sounds encouraging to Lawrence and John. What happens next ? Lawrence and John go to any meetings coming up with plans to fit that criteria, hopefully for promising discussion ??
