Hopefully there's a fans forum and we can speak to LL and JMc there.

Fans' forums and strongly worded statements from supporters' groups historically haven't done much

It will be difficult for supporters who have already purchased season tickets to boycott all games.
A boycott of the first home game of the season by all supporters would be a starting point.

There should be a boycott of all games up until Boxing Day / New Year's Day against Hemel. An average attendance of 300 followed by one game of 3,000 might finally show the owners the error of their ways. Unlikely though...

A Fans forum will be hosted. I won't be attending as it will fall on deaf ears. I would be there if I thought it would make a difference. The social media and supporter backlash hasn't been enough for the board to budge then nothing will. What makes it worse is Fans from other clubs will be boycotting. It will be Lawrence standing justifying all the reasons for a price hike including the membership deal with him completely missing the point, along with a promise of a new stadium and a sob story. I am the first to applaud what they have attempted to do to help this club. Sadly this is a decision you will never be able to justify to me at conference south level.

Maybe the increase is a down payment for conference football next year? Or maybe not

season ticket at 252 works out at 12 quid per game. Indeed an increase from last year but not going to break the bank. Although the walk up price of 18 notes might have deterred me!

A 22% increase on last year's Early Bird season ticket

Easy to yawn if you've moved away and don't intend on going this season. Easy to like the post if you think low cost season tickets aren't value for money (hahaha).
Some people just want to watch the world burn, others would be happy if it was just them and the owners and two or three others, pint of real ale in hand, watching Conference south football (or lower) with a guaranteed mid-table finish and no threat of promotion or relegation for the foreseeable future.
And sod anyone who might want to turn up and pay on the day. Sod those who fancy taking in a game. Sod the future fanbase. Who needs 'em?

I'm more than happy to see you stay in the past and watch Conference South football whilst we watch National League South football. By the way, who said you can't pay on the day? Onwards and upwards

Onwards and upwards You mean the Motorama National League South? You can pay on the day, it just turns out it's ridiculously expensive. Have the club shop thought about putting shirt prices up to say £100? Or the price of a pint of IPA up to maybe a tenner? If people are thirsty they'll pay, and if they want a shirt, they'll pay too. Not onwards and upwards - the Vauxhall Conference will eat us alive. I just want to finish 8th every year thanks very much.

I've not seen anything to suggest that you can't still purchase a ticket online on the day. You must be in the know then Saintsdad

You must be in the know then Saintsdad I hope the pass by trade, the kids, the concessions, and those who aren't on twatter and don't go on our website are all aware that if they purchase a ticket online on the day it's a mere £2.20 higher than the average home ticket price for the rest of the league.

Good point well made. (response to saintsdad) Apples and pears ?
Mind you I have only made one home game since they put it up to £15 (reduced as a senior), so maybe I am not the best to comment as the income from me over the last few years has been nil.
