Bloody hell, l didn't even know it was on, are you sure it's not on the Horror TV Channel ?? Luckily it keeps cutting out. We can keep possession when it freezes (sometimes!). Black screen also gave me hope that someone cut the power to the flood lights and put us out our misery!

That was the worst performance I’ve seen from City in many a year, especially in the first half. Clueless, passionless, leaderless. I’m not the most demanding of supporters - I accept that there will be poor matches, even poor whole seasons, but I don’t like being embarrassed and yesterday I bloody well was. Normally I’d expect a lot of changes for Saturday but with so many injuries I don’t know what Noble can do.
Although I was pleased to see Jeffers start, it proves that it doesn’t matter who plays up front if we don’t get the ball into the opponents penalty area.

The team is poor, and clueless! We are going nowhere with this side. I don't think noble has the experience to deal with it. Anyway as long as there is craft beer and plenty of burgers and chicken everything will be ok.

We all knew that Noble wasn't an experienced manager when he was appointed, he was always the cheapest and easiest option for the owners to appoint, althou as they themselves, are relatively inexperienced in the dealing of managers coming and going at a Football Club, this is what we got. Last Season, Noble managed well without any real problems to deal with, and l think, a better sQuad, he did well, but an inexperienced manager like Noble would be grateful for having few problems to deal with, you can see how relieved in post-match interviews Noble is sometimes, when we've won. This Season, he's had these injury problems to deal with, and a sQuad that's not as good, in my opinion anyway, and is understandably deflated after a defeat, especially like this, and this "finds out" an inexperienced manager. I don't know how much is going to change this season, how much can change, he can only muddle throu this season with what he has if he can't strengthen the sQuad, but we certainly do need strengthening, we need something. Noble is very understanding of the owners and the Football Club, he knows them and it very well, but depending on how long injury issues and poor results continue, let's see how much the understanding stays strong dependant on what, if any, support he gets to strengthen the sQuad

I'd be interested to know if Nobby has picked this squad, from memory one of the main issues with Austin/Allinson was over player recruitment
I spoke to one of the owners pre-season who was waxing lyrical about the scouting at the club and the gems that they've found for Nobby, he even went as far as saying the squad was better than last years
Let's be honest, there isn't a single player that's arrived who is better than they've replaced, and that's the problem
As for last night, I wished I'd stayed in Liverpool St Wetherspoons

With regard to the starting eleven last night at Braintree, every one has been brought into the Club by Nobby, with the exception of Weiss and Jeffers.
When you lose players like Stanley and Moore and don't replace them with equal or better, you are fighting against the tide from Day 1. The quality in the current side is just not there and, unless we see some radical changes, we can expect to see a lot more of what was on view last night.

Staying up this season will be an achievement. When you prioritise craft beer over the playing squad, this is the end result. Look at what happened to Dulwich.

Feels like it is time to move beyond this issue with the CP Experience. It has been stated dozens of times now and is not informative or constructive. I also don't understand why it has to be a binary decision. The commercial side of the clubs isn't the same as the coaching and recruitment. All successful clubs at all levels look for ways to maximize revenue, why would we be any different. I think it is time to start questioning nobby's coaching and decisions making. We may not have the best squad in the league but I feel that our midfield should be performing better. We are missing the presence of Wiltshire but I feel that we have enough quality to not be over run each week.

Not sure when that will be. Maybe 2030? I agree with what you say, partially, about the owners treading water, but who knows where they want it to go ? What will they ultimately be able to do in the future, go full time ?? Hmmm ... I don't know about that. If, as, or when it happens, it'll be a massive commitment, maybe a step to far for us and them? For now, it is what it is with Levy and McGowan, just treading water, trying to keep the Club sustainable, and just seeing how it goes l suppose. So, because of that, for now, l can't see them being unduly worried about us not being up there in the promotion pack

In the end people will vote with their feet, poor results will produce poor crowds! The standard of the football is what counts!

In the end people will vote with their feet, poor results will produce poor crowds! The standard of the football is what counts! You would think so, but by taking the same approach as Dulwich they've managed to increase crowds with people that aren't that bothered by the football. Results must have some effect, but we'll continue to get good crowds as long as they're serving mad squirrel and chicken george. The increased crowds should mean a bigger playing budget, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Instead there's been a lot more money spent on non-playing staff. It seems increasingly that the football is becoming periphery to the commercial side of things. Dulwich should act as a warning of what happens when you don't get the balance right.
