FT Saints (0) 0 Weston-super-Mare (0) 1 This is beginning to get serious. I have been saying this for a while fella. Noble's tippy tappy football and leaving our best player on the bench is drawing us into a relegation dogfight.

It will be more of the same Saturday, and another defeat. Where does that leave the club? Change of personnel as quickly as possible otherwise we will be back in the southern league next season.

Cheered myself up by watching the 2015 / 2016 season City v Dartford. Last game of the season to avoid relegation Saturday 30th April. Leading up to that game the gates were 200-300. Remember when we had decent players that could get results . No tippy tippy playing it out from the back bollox.

Can't we just get a couple of Loan players in, as decent ones as possible, whilst our injured players recover ? I know it's not a simple fix, it's not as easy to do as it is to say it, player availability isn't great, but it sounds like we've got players taking to the field with aches and pains, players perhaps coming back too soon after injury and getting injured again, so surely we've got to try to get a couple of bodies in ?? And the injury situation certainly isn't expected to get much better over this winter with the heavy pitches that you get over the winter

We stayed up in 2015-16 due to excellent loan players brought in to save the day.

Last night was a mixture of crap and genuine bad luck.
To start with, what was Noble thinking with the starting formation? We had four strikers available, three of whom started on the bench with the other in midfield. Rasulo Is a talented player, but as lone striker? I don’t think so. I can only assume he’s so desperate he felt shuffling the pack up front was a worthwhile gamble. He was wrong. We rarely looked like scoring until Jeffers hit the bar in injury time.
I can’t remember the last time we had such an awful injury list. To only have two central defenders available was bad enough, but to lose both of them is beyond a joke. I can’t see Bowry being fit for a while, so we have to hope that Carlyle and Partington will play on Saturday. Mind you, Gauthier has shown he’s a capable player anywhere in the back four.
We can’t afford any new signings unless more money is made available by the owners, so we have to hope for a few more loan signings, and quickly. I usually don’t like having more than a couple of loanees in at any one time, but I can’t see any alternatives.
I know some fans will be calling for a change in Manager, but I don’t think this is the right time. Any new guy in will expect to bring in players of his choice, but we can’t afford that. I thought there was plenty of effort from the team last night, so I don’t believe that Noble’s “lost the dressing room”. We need better service to the strikers (yes, I think we should play more than one!) and hopefully hang on until the injury list gets smaller.
I’m dreading Saturday …..

I'm dreading Saturday too, with our player situation/availability being what it is. I feel sorry for him in some ways, his inexperience at managing has been found out with the sQuad that he has at his disposal, cos we have with so many injuries that we have and he can only work with the budget that he has. Of course tactical decisions and motivating the team and certain other things are down to him. So, right now, he needs the backing of the owners more than ever now, to bring in a couple of loans, until such time as we've got a fully fit Squad, but who is out there now, who is available, who can improve us.

I am dreading getting spanked by Hemel over the Yuletide period. Don't worry fella, drink some craft beer and have some chicken wings. The performance and result is not important compared to the "Clarence Park Experience". 😉
