Castle's men have won four in a row now following the win over Thurrock.
Do you think that the Saints have what it takes to finish in a play-off position?

I do hope we can finish as high as possible but I don't think it's our year this year.

sadly i think its out of our hands, relying on one team to capitulate but you never know!

My view would be that we haven't really got enough quality to get in there. It would take a mammoth effort from Steve Castle and the lads to get us in the play-offs. It would be smash and grab wins as well because at the moment we are just about grinding games out.
I'll be proud though if we just finish in a good top half position. That will be very encouraging indeed.

I don't think we will but IF we do and somehow went up into the BSP, goodbye to the club.
We wouldn't be able to survive, obviously attendences would go up etc... And more money into the club but I think it would be the final nail in the coffin and if the club did survive but the team got relegated we could see us relegated again... Just like what almost happened in 07/08.
Sorry for my extreme views!

Welcome Saint. Good to see you logging on. It would be far too soon to be thinking about Conference football at Clarence Park again, wouldn't it. Just finishing in the top half would be a massive achievement as far as I am concerned.

Reaching the play-offs this probably be just beyond us this season. However what Steve Castle and the lads have achieved this season has been nothing short of a miracle considering what has been going on off the pitch!

I will reserve judgement until after the Bishop's Stortford game. It is a very big ask but if we are on 60 points with 4 games to go, anything is possible.

I disagree as well Saint, the club finished better financially after our season in the conference than any of our conf south seasons If we had a chairman with a bit of a brain we could (and should) have maximised our stay there. As for this seasons play offs, doubtful as the quality just isn't there now but stranger things have happened, as for the 2nd choice - wait for next year - I think next year will be an almighty struggle whatever division we're in
