.... I don't think we should entertain any doubts at this stage - give it till December (at least) as they say ... Well the owners will probably give it to December and then pull the plug if the team are not in the top 2-3.

Irrespective of whether JG made the comments or not, the last time I looked the EDL was a legal organisation. Are you now judging your club manager on his/her political views? You are setting an increasingly high threshold for someone to be your manager if this is the case.
What about the political views of the club owners or other senior officials? If their views are not to your taste then will you withdraw your support? (you're unlikely to ever find out what their views are of course)

Lonecrank I can see that you don't agree with the substitution of comely the last two games but just to put the record straight he, on both occasions has asked the management team to bring him off as he is struggling with hamstrings at this current moment in time. A shame as he is a class act at this level and probably a level above this one. Will do well to keep him for next season.

well played - thought you played positively compared to Hemel's other recent opponents... who normally play defensively, physically and waste time before celebrating a point like a cup final win. You deserve play offs much more than the likes of Barwell and I'd much rather you finished top 5 than Chesham. I thought Hemel were timewasting from the start and were lucky to win. SAFC were a bit lightweight but James Comley was the best player on the pitch by a country mile. Overall a poor game and if Hemel are the 2nd best team in the league then god help the rest of them.

Boomer and centurian are both spot on about Arlesey.Nathan Abbey,Blackett,Dillon and Mawer's haranguing of the officials was a disgrace. I rarely comment on opposition players but Mawer's constant moaning and cheating and feigning injury when not touched brought shame to his club. Hardly a surprise that the thug Ollie Thorne has landed here after being slung out of St Neots; this is the guy who should have been sent off for G.B.H. on Sean Shields back in October,he should have been sent off ten minutes after coming on today for punching Greg Ngoyi, delighted he got his just desserts in the end. This was a thoroughly deserved victory, with top performances from James Comley,(who played further forward than usual as James Gray played a holding role),Richard Graham and Keenleyside. Ryan Wharton had a very steady game at centre half. It is always gratifying to win away from home, but especially so against a team who are taking gamesmanship to a new level. Interesting then that Ricky Miller has turned up at Arlesey...a man with plenty of previous for dissent.

Howells out. He's had a season and a half to show that he can't set a team up to defend. Team going nowhere. A city the size of St. Albans should be in a higher league.

It's all very confusing, worrying and also frustrating Minty. And still no sign of this club statement. I wouldn't worry... ... it will be administration.

I told you all on this forum some time ago that Steve Castle is a useless manager who gets his teams to play c**p football.
Now will you believe me?

Well, Maidenhead played all the football but somehow St Albans dug out a win.

So, Steve Castle doesn't tell the team to play a long ball game but instead tells them to 'stretch the play'.

...it sounds like changes can be expected for the Luton game. What, the manager?

.... In the current economic climate, 6 consecutive Saturdays may make some fans pick and choose their games. Who would choose Weston-Super-Mare over Luton Town ? Whistling in the wind I'm afraid. The St Albans public are not interested in the club. I predict < 100 fans at Luton next week.
