Another great performance and result from the saints youth last night against a resilient North Greenford utd, with Myles Scott and Matt taylor on the bench having been involved with the 1st team and reserves the previous night, and top scorer Tremayne Charles unavailable due to England college u19 trials the youth showed their strength in depth continuing a fine run of form and playing some scintillating football. All 6 goals coming from 6 different players
Keep it up lads

Can't sleep after another late night, so any articles welcome for the Aylesbury programme!!
So far stats for the season read: P8 W7 D0 L1 F34 A9
The only loss was to Thurrock and they are now in the second round proper of the FA Youth Cup after comfortably beating our rivals Boreham Wood 2-0, they now have a relatively easy tie against Hayes and Yeading. A case of 'what if' but just shows how far the City Youngsters have come in a short space of time.
For the stattos out there 12 different goalscorers in competive matches this season, out of a squad of 18 players including 2 keepers!! Harry Carr might score if he dosn't start the match with his shirt inside out

A comfortable win in the end v North Greenford but the 1st half was more competitive than the final scoreline suggests. City started well, hit the post & then took the customary 1 goal lead. Sat back on it a bit & Greenford equalised during a good 15 minute period for them. After some handbags & rutting stag impressions from the two no 7s City took the lead again before the break. Second half was one way traffic & City keeper could have watched from the sidelines. Four more goals & it could have been more as the home team ran out of ideas & steam. My favourite was the driving run and shot from right back Joe Zazzera into the bottom corner. A rocket shot like Ray Stewart of West Ham if anyone else remembers him. (great penalty taker on a par with Le Tiss).
Big game this week v Aylesbury in the Cup. Looking forward to that, so come along on Wednesday if you want an entertaining & exciting night out for only £4.00.
