I'm led to believe that today was the last time that Tony will be picking up the microphone at Clarence Park due to having recently relocated away from the area. Tony has been making a quite herculean effort to travel for several hours from his new home to take up the mic on match days. So unfortunately it seems we'll be losing the best announcer in Non-League football! I know how much work Tony put into his match day content and Tony basically went the extra mile to do everything with style and in a professional manner. He added a lot of character and credibility to the place, in my opinion, and he'll definitely be missed! Wishing you all the best Tony! Hope to see you back down the Park in the future!

Well said Hatboy, Tony's occasional off the cuff remark or choice of music was legendary. Opposition player Mr Jamie Oliver's substitution recently was followed by Tony's quip that 'his goose has been cooked' Brilliant!
