I'm still not sure of the Capital League, Ian Ridley cited it as being a better standard than the South Midlands D1 but everytime we've been in it before it seems to have been a bit of a disaster, also do we play every team 4 times as there always seems to be a lack of games in that league whereas the SML was at least a full league programme

Never in a million years is it a better league. Either by the standard or the way it is run. Time will tell whether teams fulfill their fixtures.
Edit to add, that link already shows 1 fixture to re-arrange.

I guess the only saving grace is that the manager can get to see for himself how the ressies are progressing, if their matches are played midweek rather than Saturdays, when he is otherwise occupied with the first team.

That is true, Owsy posted on Twitter suggesting he watched the match last night, so at least that's a positive!
