City's U18 Midweek Youth team kick-off this season against Romford FC in the preliminary round of the FA Youth Cup on Weds, 7.45pm ko at Clarence Park.
With 12 of last season's players still eligible and in the squad it's a great chance to see if the young Saints can carry on from where they left off last season.
All support most welcome, entrance price £4 adults, £2 concessions.
Cheers

Same old youth still scoring for fun They have lost a number of players, some of whom have moved up to the reserves, but the new team on Wednesday night looked looked every bit as good as last season's side. The run from Ken Ogbuago, which led to the 4th goal was simply brilliant. The left back who came on for Stuart Henderson with about 20 mins to go (Humphreys?) also looked very impressive.

Strating line up had 9 players that were in last year's mwy:
1. Bell; 2. Scott, 4. Kaloczi, 5. Wroe, 3. Henderson; 7. Carr, 6. McCarthy, 8. Taylor; 10. Eisa, 9. Bailey, 11. Ogbuagu.
Subs: 14. McNamara, 17. Humprey, 16. Shanley Not used: 15. Shaw, 12. Archibong
Players in the Romford squad that were new to this season were Eisa, McCarthy, Humphrey, Shanley and Archibong so quite a bit on continuity.
BTW attendance was 80, hopefully we can add to this at the next home match which will be w/c 1 October.
