Does anyone know the result of the August month 2 draw? I believe it was announced at the Frome game but I didn't hear it. Does it go in the local press?

Ian Ridley was first, someone else second, and Peter Lewis was third. It was definitely in the Stourbridge programme but I don't know whether it's on the web-site. I'll look it up tonight and let you know on here. (I would have remembered if it was "boomer"!.)

The August draw saw £91 go to Ian Ridley. £55 to Vince Duffy and £37 to Peter Lewis.
That's from the Stourbridge match programme, Boomer.

Thanks for that. Just an idea but would it not be good idea to announce the results in the two local papers. Could emcourage a few more participants to enter. Only an idea.

That sounds like a good idea, Boomer.
Apart from the programme last Saturday, I'm not sure I've read about it anywhere else. I might be wrong but I can't remember seeing it on the official site either.

There is a tab 'Saints Snowball' on the front page of the main site - click on that and it will tell you the winners from the first 2 months, in addition to info about the Snowball

I still think, though, that getting the results in the local press the week after the draw could be beneficial and encourage further participation, by reaching a greater audience. I don't know but I would imagine the circulation of the Herts Advertiser alone must approach a figure getting on for 100,000. Advertising it in the programme and on the website is good but the exposure is very limited.
