tevez32, I would say the reception was muted, but it did seem a very small crowd. One fan shook David Howell's hand just prior to kick off.

very enjoyable afternoon at earlsmead, poor harrow team has to be said, would like to see saints pass ball more instard of long ball when pass on. not sure when draw is mon presumably but cup run essential for all non-league teams. COYS

Not the best game I have ever watched, especially the first half, which was very fragmented. It was difficult for both sides, though, with the unrelenting heat. A much improved performance by the Saints in the second half, with two excellently worked goals and in the end, a comfortable win, which takes us into tomorrow's draw.
