Nice article in today's Herts Advertiser. Surely, this has to be good, if it is allowed to come to fruition. What are the views?

My wish list would be:
New main stand that runs the length of the pitch, not one of those silly ones that stick up like a sore thumb either side of the halfway line.
Cover behind the goals - something similar to the existing covered side terrace.
Definitely new loos.
Making making ventures as stated in the article - which I guess will get priority.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All comes down money as usual - we do not want a super ground but no team

I've noticed that the fencing around the ground is currently being painted another shade of grey (Excuse any book related pun) Cover behind the goals is certainly something that has been on my wishlist for sometime now!

It will be interesting to hear what the local residents feel about this, not just the improvements to the ground but more frequent opening of the bar.
It's good to see that the council is supporting the club.

Good article but one question remains unanswered, who is going to pay for these 'improvements' ?
Can't see the Council stumping up any cash in the current climate so I guess it will be down to the owners ?

It's the council's property so maybe they are contributing.
All that is needed initially is to replace the stand. The Cola Stand and terracing are adequate.

what do you want a new stand for theres no one to put in it judging by the small crowds we get ! how will it be financed? certainly not by the club and as for the council highly unlikely just pie in the sky!
