Anyone have any ideas of when next season's fixtures are announced for the Blue Square Bet South (Remember, it's BSBS not BSS now. ) Usualy it's around July 3rd isn't it? While on this topic, who would you like frist match of the season? I would like Woking (H) or possibly Wood (H) Just to get the Wood match out the way. A few Woking fan's I have spoken to have told me they would like us away first match of the season, or at least their first away match of the season. I want us to start with a home game, seeing as last season we started away and we seem to start away quite a bit!

Is it me or do we always seem to have an away match first game of the season?
Anyway, I enjoy early season evenign matches so I'm glad we have our first match at home on a Tuesday.
Good to see a local derby over Christmas/New year.
But, last match of the season is away again at a pretty hard opponent in Dover Athletic.
COYS!

I don't think that the prospect of games against the wood can ever be described as good!

Is it me or do we always seem to have an away match first game of the season? It does seem to have happened for the last few seasons. Yes, early season evening matches are great. It's the midweek matches during the depths of winter that are the toughest to drag yourself too! COYS! No images allowed -http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/zz40/Crouchaldinho_SACFC/gialloblu.gif

I've also just noticed that we begin on the same day as the Premier League, we usualy start at least a week before the EPL but not this year!

As a Saints fan living in the US, I will be back over at Christmas. Looking forward to the 'Wood' series. Good to still have SC in charge. Should be an interesting pre season.

Does anyone know what are the dates for the FA Cup and FA Trophy, and given our recent poor showing in both competitions what round we will enter this year? Eventhough I posted a comment about the Wood game, which was a little extreme (drink tequila responsibly), I am looking forward to these games. In recent years we have had to play Hampton and Maidenhead over Xmas and New Year, so it's good to have that local derby back again. Always enjoy the trip to Woking (December 18th), unless it's in the FA Trophy.

Hello sbsaint, welcome to the forum. We will be entering the FA Cup at the 2nd qualifying round as usual and the FA Trophy at the 3rd qualifying round. The FA Cup begins pretty soon actually. Here are the dates for the opening rounds: Extra Preliminary Round - Saturday 14 August 2010 Preliminary Round - Saturday 28 August 2010 First Round Qualifying - Saturday 11 September 2010 Second Round Qualifying - Saturday 25 September 2010 So our first match in that competition will be on 25th September 2010. The FA Trophy begins a little later: Preliminary Round - Saturday 2 October 2010 First Round Qualifying - Saturday 16 October 2010 Second Round Qualifying - Saturday 30 October 2010 Third Round Qualifying - Saturday 20 November 2010 Our first match in that competition will be on 20th November. It would be really good if we could have a little cup run in one of the competitions this season.

Daedalus, Thanks for the info. Refresh my memory what's a cup run? It's what the youth side had last season in the FA Youth Cup! Hopefully the seniors have taken note and will follow their example this season! ;D Definitely! COYS! No images allowed -http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/zz40/Crouchaldinho_SACFC/COYS.png
