www.sacfc.co.uk/index.php/news/latest-club-news/1253-quilter-fears-lengthy-lay-off.htmlThe official website is reporting that Quilts damaged his left knee during training (click the link above to read the news article). The fear is that he has damaged his medial and cruciate tendons. Apparently, this could potentially put him out for the whole of next season. Quilter is due to have a scan over the weekend. Good luck to him and I hope that it will be good news.

Have I gone completely barking mad, or was he released towards the end of last season? I'm getting this weird feeling of happiness that he's back, ruined by this injury. Did he ever leave, or am I going mental?

COYS, I think you'll find he was released for the last few games of the season to lower the wage bill as we were safe by then and promotion wasn't really possible. But Castle did say that he expected Quilter back for pre-season after he was released. But, it's such a shame to hear about the injury!
