We are a long way behind - I heard Terry Brown was on £60k+ whilst of course managers at lower end can often be unpaid...! (Or donate the wage to the playing budget)

No doubt, Margate is very much at the top end here but even with clubs within the mid to lower reaches (budget wise) in the league, I honestly believe that the majority of supporters are absolutely clueless with regard to how much it costs to operate a club at this level. Or perhaps they just shut their eyes and ears to it. A minor thing I know but I was horrified at the cost just to turn on floodlights for an evening game for 2 and a half to 3 hours. As for the major things.............
