www.premierleague.com/page/Headlines/0,,12306~2093627,00.html Never as appetising as it seems though - £35K to each premier club per season and only £7.5K to the north and south clubs per an article from local paper for one of the teams in our league. Still, £7.5K is better than nothing and maybe Gibson or even his good wife can turn on the charm and get a slice out of the £800K as it involves local community and youth development. Sounds right up their street to me, if they decide to make the effort. Sport In Brief: Conference clubs to benefit from Premier League funds22 July 2010THE FOOTBALL Conference has been boosted by a solidarity package via the Premier League that will see member clubs benefit from £6m over three seasons.
The windfall shall be divvied up into general payments to the 68 sides along with a development fund for specific projects. The money will help invest in local, youth development.
Blue Square Premier teams stand to receive £35,000 a year, with £7,500 heading the way of Blue Square North and South outfits.
A further £800,000 has been set aside as a "development fund", which is available to all Blue Square parties to help finance community and youth projects.
The development fund money will though only be available on a £ for £ matching basis by the clubs applying.

A typically small-scale gesture but welcome nonetheless.
