Confussion on the Saints' official website has meant no preview thread, the website listed the Waltham Abbey friendly would take place on Tuesday 28th July, despite today's actual date being the 27th July. Anyway, despite this, the match is still being played tonight at Waltham Abbey FC.
KO: 7:45pm.
Let's hope we see some more decent play from the Saints!

Any news on goal scorers? Another 4-2 defeat on the way?

Goalscorers for City were Danny Johnson and Inih Effiong.

Good to see Johnson in the action and another for Effiong? Wow, he could be a key player this season with his height, strength and scoring ability it seems!

COYS, looks like we could be getting our first result of pre-season.
Anyone ever heard of this Kweme before?

Saint, would be good news if Effiong can provide the goals. In the brief glimpses we saw in the home friendlies, he did look to have a new confidence. Let's hope he can take this goalscoring form on into the new season!

When I searched for Glodi Kweme on Google, all I found was that he was on trial at Dunstable Town last season and also that he played for Luton Old Boys in the Bedfordshire County Football League.

I should add that Kweme was turning out for our reserves last season, so he isn't technically 'new' at the club.

Well, at least we know we can beat an Isthmian League First Division North side then. Will be more interesting to see how Castle's men get on against Crawley Town this weekend, I feel.

I just wanted to say that I love the 'Twitter Balloon' that Waltham Abbey have got on their home page. Check it out - wafc.kafluey.co.uk/It's the chap from Sky Sports News reading out their latest Twitter update! An idea for the Saints City Trust website, perhaps!

Interesting to note Chris Sullivan returned last night, despite having trials with Woking and playing two matches, in which he scored one goal.
I thought he had gone abroad?
