Seems to me IA is doing a better job of recruiting for his sons team's than ours Sambou at Biggleswade and now Diedhiou

Diedhiou is only playing for Hendon today as we don't have a game. He is on a dual and we have first call.

So IA brings in Foxley because he ran riot against us at Hungerford last season and that seems to have proved to be a complete waste of effort. WTF ??

Would you prefer it if we signed players who played rubbish against us?

The thing is, at the end of the day, any player who comes in having previously played against us, could've played poorly against us, average against us, or like Foxley, really well against us, but l think if you went by that it could falsely get your hopes up, as has been proved with Foxley. Pinney played well against us once for Eastbourne, then he signed for us a bit later on and look what happened then too, another example

I rue the fact that we've lost so many good players and look at their replacements, some of them are not half as good. I wish we still had Lucien, Sambou and RMW too, and look at Louie Theanapous at Kingstonian. I know that if a player goes, if he gets a better offer elsewhere, he'll go no matter what, but l often wonder how much effort has gone into keeping players at the Club ? I guess it's down to the old B word ?

You keep ignoring the fact that we had enough money in the budget to get Lucien in the first place... and Sambou, and RMW twice including this season... and Theophanous. Then they left, presumably freeing up their wages. So we occasionally get good ones in but when they leave we don't replace them with good ones.

We got them in for a certain price. They leave, that money is now freed up for someone else.

They leave or in Theophanous case he gets released just before his goal bonus gets triggered and only IA knows the tactical genius thinking that brings back RMW only to bin him off before the clocks go back in October. As for Sambou - don't get me started - what a loss he is.

There wasn't a budget cut when he got RMW back in, or when he got Bawling in, or he got Foxley in. Budget cuts might be the reason they leave (might be), but they were bad signings in the first place as opposed to Wyatt / Sambou for example

I'm on about the budget getting cut now hence no money spent to replace the players leaving

Foxley scored today... I'm starting to think the problem is with the coaching team not the players. I hope I'm wrong but it's difficult to think other wise with 3 wins in 17 games.

I've been thinking that for a while stefans and there was another example of that today at Tonbridge when we lost 2-1. We didn't seem to have any direction or organization or any confidence and those attribution are the responsibilities of Allinson and Alzapiedi. Along with team selection and recruitment. Allinson always goes on in his post match interviews about confidence being low as well. I'm sure Allinson and Alzapiedi are working hard just as much as the players are, but you are always judged on results at the end of the day and if Allinson and Alzapiedi cannot do it, we must have changes of management before its too late

talking of Alzapiedi - what exactly does he do. Defense coach my @rse. Cut budget and get rid.

RMW deemed not good enough to grace a team propping up the table but considered good enough to move to a team in the play off zone. You couldn't make it up.

Shame neither the owners nor their spineless yes men can see the common de-nominator, much as it pains me to say

I'd have kept RMW on, but you have to ask yourself why he's made his way through quite so many clubs.
He had one really good half season for us, but that seems to be the exception in his career. Reminds me a bit of Andros Townsend. Scores the occasional great goal, but there's only so many times you can watch someone cut inside and shoot over the bar.
