Trust news update 21st August:
Non League Day: The Trust is backing the national campaign to generate interest in non-league football among a new set of fans. Non-League Day is Saturday, 4th September when no Premiership or Championship games are being played, because of England's European Championship qualifier on the night before. It aims to persuade supporters of these clubs to visit their local non-league club instead. If you know anyone who would otherwise have watched a Premiership or Championship game, please invite them to come along with you to Clarence Park for The Saints' league fixture with Woking that day.
Volunteers Rota: We have started a volunteers rota on The Trust website for tasks that need to be carried out on match days and encourage all supporters to become involved in these activities, even if it is only for a couple of matches per season.
Player Sponsorship: Ian Rogers has undertaken to run the player sponsorship scheme for the club this season; the funds raised will go towards purchasing new track suits and training kit for the players. If you would like to sponsor your favourite player please contact him.
Photo Competition: The closing date for our photo competition is drawing near; get a snap of yourself in your Saints colours and send it to marketing@saintscitytrust.co.ukThis e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it by Friday 3rd September. A 2010/11 season ticket, £50 voucher to spend at the club shop and matchday tickets are the prizes on offer for the best entries, whether in an exotic, overseas location, a well-known local or UK venue, an unusual setting or even a celebrity-sharing moment. Existing entries can be found in the competitions section of The Trust website,
Matchday Public Address Role: The club is looking for a volunteer to take on the matchday announcer's role on a job share with Ian Rogers. If you are interested in having a go at being The Voice at The Park on matchdays please contact Ian or pop in to see me him in the booth.
