Harpenden Construction Ltd Player of the Month: congratulations to August winner Peter Smith, who will receive his award from supporter Trevor Merryfield prior to kick off.
Ground works: in the past few weeks Saints City Trust has funded the new fixture boards on Hatfield Road and also the purchase of the paint used on the main stand, together with weed killer for the pitch.
Player Sponsorship: Ian Rogers is running the player sponsorship scheme for the club this season; the funds raised will go towards purchasing new track suits and training kit for the players. If you would like to sponsor your favourite player please contact him.
Spot The Ball: to mark the arrival of the new first team shirt and supporter's scarf in the club shop, we are offering you the opportunity to win a scarf in a 'Spot The Ball' competition. Simply mark the spot using the form in the match programme and take your entry to the club shop, where you will find the full range of club merchandise. You can also download the form here and email your guess to marketing@saintscitytrust.co.ukThis e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it on or before Monday, 6th September. The winner will be announced in the programme at the next home game.

Prediction League: the entry form for our 2010/11 prediction competition is available at the club shop. The prize fund depends on the number of entrants - last season the winner won £75, the runner-up received £20 and third-place received £10, while spot-prizes were also awarded in mid-season. Online players can download the form here and should return it, with the £5 entry fee, to Saints City Trust, PO Box 1086, St Albans AL1 9RY by Saturday 18th September.
Quiz Night - Friday 15th October: the first of our ever-popular quiz nights this season will be in the clubhouse at Clarence Park on 15th October starting at 7.45pm. Teams of 5 or 6 people can enter this general knowledge test for £3 per person, which includes a half time buffet.
Carling Cup Sweepstake: envelopes are now on sale from Peter Knock, priced at £5 each. They contain the last 32 teams in the cup and if you are the holder of the cup winners you will win £50, while the holder of the losing finalist will win £20.
