yes who knows with covid. One thing I cannot understand why is there crowds at the snooker- indoors in a stuffy hall and I have to wait to until the end of May to enjoy a day at the cricket? I thought all the scientists agreed that outdoors is far safer than indoors? I not against covid related restrictions but they need to be logical. Outdoor sport needs priority over indoor events

Outdoor sport needs priority over indoor events The world snooker championships is a test event the government are using to work out safety rules for future large scale indoor events. Everyone is being tested prior to admission and again a few days afterwards. Their contact details are registered so they can be traced should an infection occur. Makes sense to provide informed evidence to allow large scale events to be reopened.

At the risk of being unpopular I just brought a season ticket/membership for next season. After the various discounts it worked at £90 for the pair. I wonder if communication of the decision and the fact you had to ask for the discount rather than having it automatically applied is actually more of a issue than the level of discount? At least to me, given the financial shocks the club has suffered, 90 quid seemed fair and reasonable burden sharing. Can you offer a break down of what you just said? Are you saying somehow you’ve only paid £45 per ST to the club? Or is there a child ST involved And if you are happy to pay, forced BTW, not even given the option, £45 to watch Tonbridge at home then fair play

Are you saying somehow you’ve only paid £45 per ST to the club? Or is there a child ST involved And if you are happy to pay, forced BTW, not even given the option, £45 to watch Tonbridge at home then fair play It was £90 for one season ticket and membership (that is what I meant by the pair) To be fair, in addition to the Tonbridge game I had streaming access to other home games (I did not actually use this) so its probably nearer £9 or something per game. OK its not great but when I bought the ticket I knew I was taking a chance - I expected more than one in-person game but never expected a full season. This year students have been charged full price for half a service, businesses have paid rent on premises they not legally allowed to open, I myself have a flat I use for work that I been paying council tax/ utilities on that I have not legally been allowed to use for most of the year. I have not seen the books but I accept that the owners have probably lost more money than in a normal season. Ok it would been nice if a full refund had been offered but within the context of the pandemic I don't think its terrible that I been asked for £90 for a season ticket.

Before the 20/21 season started, it was thought that the number of people admitted to games would be limited. It made sense at the time to get a season ticket to guarantee a place in the ground. Unfortunately things changed and games were played behind closed doors instead.

Does anyone have a copy of the Ts & Cs for 20/21 season tickets? According to the FSA most clubs have been obliged to give full refunds for games played behind closed doors, but it depends on what's in the Ts and Cs

What is the general consensus of people who were season ticket holders last season or the season before regarding jumping in now and buying/renewing their season tickets now. I'm just trying to gauge this, that's all, with covid never too far away and of course theres this latest indian variant now doing the rounds in some places ! I've been a season ticket holder for a few years now and am in a bit of a Quandary. I know it's up to me if and when l renew my season ticket, now they are on sale, and most of me wants to, but it's just... well, you just don't know what the future holds with covid, do you ? I don't think it'll ever go away, fully, but if it does, it'll be a long, long time before it does. What are peoples views on this ?

I believe that it will shortly be treated just as we do at present with the Flu. It will probably end up with an annual jab, similar as we now get for flu. So look on the bright side and get your season ticket.

It appears that once again the club have neglected to state whet will happen to season ticket holders money should matches be cancelled, or streamed only. This should be explicitly stated in a set of terms & conditions. so that fans are clear what they are buying.

Yeah, absolutely, l couldn't agree more. l would certainly have liked to have seen that, and because the covid threat is so very real still.

I wouldn't bother buying one, at least you know where you stand 'if' and probably when the next season could possibly be halted again.

True, the pull of buying a season ticket, and the main reason why I've been buying them for the last few seasons, is the saving you make over the course of a season, or at least over the course of a NORMAL season, compared to paying at the gate each time. But of course are any season ticket holders going to lose out again next season if next season is curtailed yet again ? There's been nothing from the Club about this

I have been a season ticket holder in the past but unless the club explicitly states its refund policy, should the season is curtailed or games can only streamed, then I will not buy one. Sadly i doubt that the club really cares if supporters buy a season ticket or not.

I understand the pull of a season ticket as the price which works out in total over the season is very reasonable however with the state of the play at the moment who's knows what is around the corner with all these variants and letting people in from dangerous areas into the country is only going to do more harm than good.

Hi, Lagerman.
I presume you paid the extra £5.00 for a printed card. If so, the Club website says "All ‘physical’ season tickets ordered will be shipped 2-3 weeks before the start of the season".

That was actually a good deal, I know lots of people who brought them, including me, works out at £9.16 a game for the remaining 12 games
Although I would be a bit galled if I brought a ST for £250 pre-season as it would have worked out cheaper to pay £16.50 for the first 8 home games and then £110 on black friday for the remaining 12
