We need the same desire and drive that we had in the last 20 mins vs Salisbury, but we need it for the whole of the 90+ mins and we need to start winning league games. I won't be there today as l don't go to the aways, but if l was and we conceded the first goal, my thoughts would be "here we go again"! I'm not confident and won't be until we start getting regular, decent results rolling in

Hello ‘Matey’ Odd how quiet you were after the Salisbury game kid. We wernt going to lose every week, but your over excitement is laughable. Papers over the cracks and Noble needs to get out of this club and never return.

It’s a step in the right direction. We played with so much character and the players at the end showed how much behind Noble they are. You probably couldn’t tell the difference in performance as you were probably sat at home just praying for a defeat

There was plenty of spirit & effort, but I don’t think that’s been questioned much, if at all in any of the games so far. There was a distinct lack of quality, perhaps even more today than in many other games, we didn’t click in an attacking sense at all, apart from the one moment of quality which we scored from.
We rode our luck at times with Hampton crashing the bar in the first half, and on more than one occasion tried our best to gift them a goal. There was also at least 2 last ditch blocks & an excellent save from MJ. But we held it together & I thought Woodman had a good game, especially his second half performance.
Our goal was certainly an example of the benefit of having more than one striker looking to get into the box, and that despite what the manager may think, that Shaun can still affect games even if he doesn’t score.
The scenes at the end of the game were a bit surreal but the support today, as it has been at nearly every game this season was absolutely outstanding. The backing the players got in the second half was fantastic and I hope it’s the start of the season turning a corner. We must back it up with a win next week.

I genuinely think having partington back is a huge plus. As a player he probably isn’t even in the top 3 CBs in our squad but he organises that defence well and leads the team well. I’m sure if we had him against Gorelston we would of only conceded 1 as he would of not allowed those mistakes to happen. I think today was actually an average league performance but players were flying into tackles and winning a lot of 50/50s. MJs confidence has deffo had a boost from Tuesday. Shaun was fantastic today and he actually held the ball up well. Ken is such an asset for us. We have changed the attack in almost every game so it’s so difficult to click and considering that front 3 have never played together other than 30 mins against salisbury they did alright. Banton being back on saturday is gonna be huge

I like Partington but he can slow the play down too much for my liking & always has the feeling of never being quite fit, but hopefully he can have a run of games now.
For me we’ve looked better defensively as a back 4, and it feels we need to try & find a more settled side & system. The front 3 worked well last week & showed some promise today. Buy the constant chopping and changing of positions & personnel up front can’t help confidence or building any kind of understanding.
