Would be good if this was mentioned on the official club website, seeing as it's for all supporters not just members of the Trust.
Thanks, Limpar Assist

You don't have to be a Trust member to look at its website (unless your name is AFF)

True, northamptonsaint. But how many people do you think visit the official website on a daily (or weekly) basis compared to the Trust website?
Thanks, Limpar Assist

There is a link on the home page of the St. Albans City F.C. website.

I know, boomer. It's been pointed out to me before. However, it doesn't provide notifications of updates or new posts, which would be good. People would be more likely to click on the link if they saw there was a new post, a bit like the reason why I clicked on this thread this morning rather than an old thread that may or may not have a new post in it.
Thanks, Limpar Assist

It's not going to, if it is on the SACFC official website, LA. I'm afraid you are going to have to do it long hand.

Any reason why not, boomer? I don't mind doing it long hand, as I've found out there's an update through these boards. However, according to the official website, there are 113 guests online at the moment. All those guests will see the main news article at the moment, but not all of them will click on the Saints City Trust link. More will if they know there's an update.
Thanks, Limpar Assist

Have a word with Webbo, then. I'm sure he'll oblige, if you ask nicely.

The Trust haven't thought of doing so already? Here's to a big win tomorrow.

I have tried (and failed) to add a RSS feed of Trust news on the site (and no, I haven't been asked). Somehow the Trust site feed does not include latest news... I'm sure the Trust webmaster can sort this?

Also the Trust statement should read "After consultation with non Trust officials and others The Trust therefore proposes to hold an open forum to get the common view of all supporters, however we feel that this meeting should be after the result of the club's appeal to the Football Association so we are all clearer as to what we are up against. At this moment, we ask for your patience as we try to arrange a date as soon as possible where as many of the interested parties as possible are able to attend, including the Football Club's Board. I'm sure the Trust webmaster can sort this? This is a very good idea Webbo. I wonder if you would be open to me doing this as I know the code to get an RSS feed working for the Trust site. I could get something up under the Trust banner which would be similar to the Supporters Direct feed on the Trust website - see bottom right corner of www.saintscitytrust.co.uk/ (obviously, I could change the colour scheme to suit the official website). Let me know if it is okay to do this and I will give it a shot.

Also the Trust statement should read "After consultation with non Trust officials and others the Board of Saints City Trust believes that there needs to be substantial changes within the structure of the Football Club to ensure the future stability and success of the club. No, I don't think that is quite right Webbo. The statement that 'there needs to be substantial changes within the structure of the Football Club to ensure the future stability and success of the club' appears to me to be the opinion of the Trust board.

Excellent work Webbo. Thanks very much for that. A really good idea and I, for one, really appreciate it. I'm sure Limpar Assist will also be very pleased.
