Congratulations to t'lad on making the Scotland squad for Saturday, doesn't seem like only a few seasons ago I was watching him in the Ressies, always thought he would go far (unlike some so-called experts at this club).
No doubt a percentage clause was in his contract when he was shipped out to Arlesey (joke).

Indeed, Gaz, indeed. Morison looked quality when he played for us when he was about 16. You do have to wonder what these people are looking at. Both Mackail-Smith and Morison and also Benyon, for that matter, were all destined to make it at a much higher level. Coaching will improve your ability to a degree but generally the art of scoring goals is something you are born with and it is a rare commodity.

Morison was only here on loan, wasn't he?
Thanks, Limpar Assist

He played about 7 or 8 games for us at the tail end of the 2000/01 season, joining from the Leicester academy so I don't think so but I can't be sure. He went on to join Northampton after that. www.sacfc.co.uk/tpl/matchdetails.php?id=545

I thought he came on loan from Northampton? I could be wrong though.
Thanks, Limpar Assist

Just been on Talk Sport yet again with Adrian Durham yet again bringing up St Albans and the fact that we released him and he had rung Barry Fry to tell him about him when he saw him playing for us (yet some reckon he wasn't good enough for our level !)

I think that might mean that CMS isn't heading to Norwich - perhaps off to Everton. Whatever is happening, Norwich are taking a very strange approach towards staying up - possibly signing three strikers, none of which are proven goalscorers at Premier League level? Odd.

Proven premier league scorers cost big bucks, by signing CMS and Morison it'll mean if they do go down they'll have a 1st class championship strike force

Lots of Strikers surprise in their first seasons in the Prem don't see it as that big of a gamble and sensible not to throw money at the league, as stated if they come straight back down they will be challenging again to go straight back up.
