www.saintscitytrust.co.uk/index.php/news/38-recent/205-update-from-sct-chairman-110511The Saints City Trust chairman, Ian Rogers, attended a meeting with Lawrence Levy this afternoon. This initial meeting was felt to be very positive and productive. It was confirmed that Lawrence Levy and John McGowan have now taken control of the Football Club and it appears that John Gibson is no longer involved with Club in any respect. In addition, Mr Levy confirmed that his chief objective at this time is to appoint a chairman, who would be responsible for all football aspects at the Club. The subjects discussed included the role of the Trust and its input in moving the Club forward. Particular significance was placed upon the support of Trust members in assisting with match day operations and other specific tasks. It was suggested that a fans’ forum could be an important way of moving forward and Lawrence Levy indicated that he would be willing to be a part of this. Furthermore, initial thoughts on subjects such as sponsorship, funding, involving local businesses and the community were also discussed. Finally, it has been suggested that the Saints City Trust board will meet with Mr Levy and Mr McGowan in the near future in order for further discussions to take place.

Postive noises coming from the club at the moment.
One question which needs to be asked is :- Does the club still get the income from Oaklands for the Academy or is that money being redirected to Gibson ?

Certainly the right kind of noises coming from the new guys, in my humble opinion. No images allowed -http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/zz40/Crouchaldinho_SACFC/thup.gif I have my fingers crossed. That's one key question that needs to be answered, for sure.

www.saintscitytrust.co.uk/index.php/news/38-recent/206-fans-forum-discussions-update140511"I spoke with Lawrence Levy yesterday regarding a fans' forum. Both Lawrence Levy and John McGowan are keen to hold the forum but they would prefer to have the Football Club's Chairman in place first of all, in order to have his full involvement when discussing any 'on the field' issues . Lawrence Levy is away on business next week but we are all hopeful that the event could be held in the week commencing 23rd May. Further news will be issued once a date is set. Ian Rogers. " Hopefully this can be arranged before too long. It would be good to hear from the board 'first hand' so to speak.
