The way that Spain tend to dominate possession and boss the midfield, I wouldn't be surprised if Boomer was right.
Then again, I can see Messi having an amazing World Cup.
Not so sure about Rooney Hatboy. I hope so but I've got a feeling the strain of carrying England through the competition might be too much for him.
I wonder who will be the 'surprise' player of the tournament?
And what about the golden boot winner? Any predictions?

You don't think Messi or Rooney will have a superb World cup then ? They are both excellent but I question how long Argentina and England will last in the World Cup, whereas I think Spain could well be there at the very end. There is no doubt that Messi is fantastic player but at Barcelona, he also has the benefit of host of great players alongside him. It says something about the Barca midfield, when the best midfield player in the Premiership struggles to get a place in the Spanish team. One to watch out for is Pato, the Brazilian striker.
