I was having a look on the Cirencester forum and they were not happy with our hospitality
"Reasonably priced drinks? £3.15 for a pint, £1 for an orange squash. No drinks for players and staff before the game (after two and half hours on the coach) and no drinks for players in changing rooms at half-time. No treatment table available in the away changing room. Post match NO hot food, just a few curly sandwiches and party sausage rolls! Brought these points up on the day and just got a smile. However, we will continue to do things properly and provide what we should for guests. Nice people though and warm welcome at the gate from a club official."
Is there something we can do to change this?

The words 'sour grapes' spring to mind, but if it becomes a recurring theme then maybe it's something we'd have to look at.

£3.15 is quite cheap these days, have they ever been out in London?

I doubt they have ever left whichever county they come from.
If you look at the Cirencester site you'll see that it boasts a smart new ground that has conference and wedding facilities. Maybe they expect higher standards of catering.

Aiming high, aren't they, Aries? A ground with conference facilities?

Let's hope they didn't go near the burger van. No coffee half hour before kick off. frozen sangers, dog burgers and that was it. Traditional cheap and nasty food not fit for humans but saves yer 50p

Traditional cheap and nasty food not fit for humans but saves yer 50p TBF the couple running the van were not happy. Apparently the Club were late letting them in so they did not have enough time to prepare. As for the standard of food, the only football fare that has impressed me was at Cambridge United. Their bacon rolls were truly amazing!
