Quite a result for the Hatters today.
The battle for the Blue Square Premier is looking like it will go to the wire.
Difficult to say who will win it. Luton have a decent looking run in, while Stevenage have a game in hand but quite a few aways and they also have the FA Trophy final to think about.
Who do you think will win it?

I think Monday's games and the last day of the season are the crucial games.
Monday - AFC Wimbledon vs Stevenage and Luton vs Grays
24th April - Stevenage vs York and Rushden & Diamonds vs Luton
Luton will be odds on to beat Grays, so if Stevenage fail to beat Wimbledon, the momentum and psychological advantage will be with Luton. I would then expect them to go on and win it.
If it goes down to the last day of the season, I would fancy Stevenage with home advantage and Luton facing a tricky away game at R&D.

Wouldn't it be funny if Stevenage bottled it again

I still think Stevenage will win it, Oxford have really blown up this season.

As much as I hate to say it, I think St Evenage will win it, but it's not over just yet.....

I'll be hoping that the Hatters beat Stevenage to it! As a quick aside, I notice that Godfrey Poku and JJ O'Donnell haven't managed to get into the squads for any games yet. I think Poku was on the bench once for them. Maybe we have a chance of getting them both back on loan again next season.

Well the Luton manager did say a couple of weeks ago they will consider the positions of them both during the summer and in pre-season, espcecailly JJ's as he said Castle has requested JJ to join on loan next season.

Is that right Saint? I must have missed that. I'm sure they would both be very welcome back at the Park.

Yeah, he did say that, I found it while I was browsing the Luton website! (I have no idea why I was!)

Yeah, he did say that, I found it while I was browsing the Luton website! (I have no idea why I was!) Have I outed you as a secret fan of the Hatters Saint? Luton Town won 6-0 today against Grays Athletic. AFC Wimbledon didn't do them a favour though, as they were beaten 3-0 by Stevenage. 2 points separating the top two. Luton with 4 games to go and Stevenage with 5. Advantage Stevenage then?

No I am not! I really do not like Luton or St Evenage!

The reallly sad thing was, when I started supporting City, we were bigger than Stevenage

We still are its just that we have a population in Snorbens who are in general unaware that there is a local team in need of support. That and a council who could do more in terms of the ground they own etca and an owner who ...well who knows. St Albans is an enigma as it seems to be a thriving busy place but businesses finfd it difficult as many travel elsewhere to shop etc and only live here if you see wot i mean. We should be able to get at least 500 a game but there is an air of apathy. Rather than gettn kids in and interested at grass roots many kids go to Watford luton and into London . Sad really. not helped of course by lack of initiatives to bring them in. H&R had a family season ticket on sale yesterday for 2 adults and up to 3 kids for under £200. 20 games a season for less than a tenner a game for up to five. We need a major rethink and to see a clear business plan and strategy from THE BOARD(who they)

I've never brought a season ticket but am I right in thinking they still include a 'donation' to the club? so not great value

Even i have given up getting a season ticket now, i can only remember giving that 50 pound donation in Gibbo's first season.

Looks like Stevenage's Championship to lose now following todays results :-
St Evenage 2 - 0 FGR Tamworth 1 - 1 Luton
They are now 4 points clear with a game in hand on Luton and 4 games left.
