Watch the Allied Counties Youth League East Division's top 2 sides battle it out on Wednesday 12 October at Clarence Park, 7.45pm ko.
Both teams have 100% league records with St Albans MWY hopefully going for a technical knockout against a combatant Kentish Town team.
I've tried very hard not to mention the P******g word this week, which I understand gets a few regular Saints supporters hot under their yellow collars!
Saints league record: P4 W4 F19 A3 Pts 12, position FIRST! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

3-0 FT.
Worthy winners, fair to say their keeper was man of the match

I agree Gaz, their keeper was a candidate for MOM along with some of the young saints. Real credit to these boys on another great performance, and some great football once again against a Kentish town team who also previously held a 100% record, this lot are a real crowd pleaser. Some great goals with one of them following a 20+ passing move, nice to see a few more supporters coming through the turnstile. Keep it going lads!! Cant wait until next Wednesday's home game against burnham,

Agreed, another great performance from the young saints last night. The KT keeper did keep them in it for an hour with some great saves, especially a one handed effort to keep out a ripping shot from the City no 9 after an 18 pass movement across the pitch. However his goal kicking was appalling which brought needless pressure on his own team & it reminded me of under 8s football when the best chance of scoring a goal is from the opposition's weak goal kicks that barely dribble out of the goal area.
After 6 games I am getting to know the Saints players now & was again impressed with the overlapping full backs, the dynamo like no 7 who never stops running, & the no 6 who twists & turns, changing the direction of play like a pirouetting Margot Fontaine. The whippet like winger at no 8 had a start tonight & caused havoc in the 1st half with his pace. After the break he got cramp in both calf muscles & had to be replaced. He has my sympathy as it's something I get on a regular basis, although I am approaching 50 & a little overweight.
In respect of the player of the match my vote has to go to the St Albans City stadium announcer for his valiant, if ultimately unsuccessful attempts to pronounce the Kentish Town players names, most of which were around 10-15 letters long & of African origin. By the time he had got to the final 3 or 4 he had resorted to simply spelling them out. Hat's off to him, he deserves an award.

I agree the announcer did Extreeemly well, as I have never seen so many N's W's Y's and Z'ds on a team list before, it's a good job the game wasn't played on a scrabble board!!

I got down to see them for the first time this season (well second half) and it was a pleasure to watch.
2 goals in a minute and this time for the Home side !
Agree their keeper was their best player says a lot for our boys doesn't it still winning 3-0 !
I was especially impressed with the play down the left (3) Myles Scott and the 12 dog Stuart someone.
