Looking forward to the game bandicoot, hopefully another goalfest from the young saints. The way in which they play for a young side is a credit to them and very easy on the eye!!

Should be a good one tonight! Also check out the programme for a new column 'From the Restricted View'.
Links to the match reports below, includes the Flackwell Heath and Kentish Town dispatches which aren't on the sacfc site. My money is on Kentish Town winning this year's scrabble contest! ;D ;D full-time.thefa.com/DisplayTeam.do?teamID=5236546&divisionseason=6783005 Hopefully we can report another 3 points later.

I think a trip to specsavers maybe on the agenda for the Kentish Town fella,, from what I saw if it wasn't for their keeper and the woodwork, there could of been a 1 in front of the 3 we scored.
But hey hows the saying go!!
There's nowt funnier than folk

Couple of quid, is it? Pound for a programme? Not yet failed to enjoy seeing a good and enthusiastic game.
Just what is keeping away those who like to see good soccer?
Come and support these lads, the seniors of tomorrow.

The match was watched last night by freelance newsreporter Carl Mungazi. His report is on the HertsAd website and is reproduced below. Thanks Carl - saves me a job! ;D ACYL East Division
St Albans City Midweek Youth 5 Burnham 1
MARINO Hadji-Savva grabbed a hat-trick as St Albans City Midweek Youth thrashed Burnham Youth 5-1 to continue their unbeaten start to the Allied Counties Youth League East Division. Stuart Henderson and Gio-Lee Baptiste got the other goals with Harry Pearse netting for the away team.
The Saints started the match on the front foot, with Baptiste causing problems on the right wing and it was his cross for Henderson in the tenth minute that resulted in the opening goal.
Burnham’s midfield struggled to keep possession and this allowed St Albans to break on numerous occasions. Hadji-Savva shot wide before reacting quickest to a loose ball in the box to make it 2-0 with 25 minutes gone. That counter-attacking move had been started by defender Laurence Wroe who looked calm and composed all night.
However, five minutes later, the away side got an unlikely goal when right back Joe Zazzera missed his header and Pearse ran through to finish past Freddie O’Connell. James Shaw then had a goal disallowed for offside but another counter saw Hadji-Savva score a second before wrapping up his hat-trick on 43 minutes.
The second half was a scrappy affair with St Albans’ sloppy passing giving Burnham a foothold in the game, but they still threatened in the final third and Baptiste got the fifth after dribbling to a good shooting position on the edge of the box.
League form now P6 W6 D0 L0 F27 A4 Pts 18. Top by 6pts!

Another great performance by the boys.
They were a bit complacent early on i think and that allowed Burnham to score and get a bit of self belief but they picked up their performance again.
I was especially impressed with the Left back, Matt Taylor, Harry Carr and Gio Lee-Baptiste in the second half.

Delayed posting this week due to work commitments. Saints were by far the better team in the 1st half with a well taken Marino hat-trick. Henderson on the left wing caused havoc (1 goal & 2 assists) until he was crocked in the final 5 minutes of the half & did not appear after the restart. Skipper Bailey was excellent & made a great, mazy dribble only to see his shot well saved. The rebound was netted by Marino but was ruled offside.
Misjudged cross by the otherwise excellent No 2 (Joe) led to brief hope for Burnham to bring it back to 2-1 but City were always in control.
The diffence in class in the second half saw a few Billy Bunters trying to do a bit too much with the ball when a pass to a team-mate would have been the better option, but that's a minor criticism. Gio scored the only goal of the half with a nice run & shot into the corner. Little dynamo (Harry) came on 2nd half & again impressed. New left back (Lawrie) played well & usual incumbent of that position (Myles) played at centre back with his usual style. No 5 Wroe is a classy centre half who is stylish & confident on the ball & is great to watch bringing the ball out of defence.
Another great win for the boys & still 100% in the league. Keep it up lads.....
