Is it Ched Evans?
Oldham were only offering him £400 a week.
Evans and Frendo would be a feared partnership.

Another PR nightmare for the club? It'd be perfect!

What a great headline! I presume Wycombe are glad they weren't "stuck with him". I'm here all week.

Just a shame we have a blank Saturday so he'll probably only manage 3 games

And that it is only a month again and not the rest of the season or at least three months

Elliot Bailey has joined Southern Premier League side Dunstable Town on dual registration.
It is the second time the 19-year-old has been out on dual registration this season, the first time coming with SSML Premier Division outfit London Colney.
James Gray announced the move on Tuesday.
Bailey hasn’t scored in five appearances, including four starts, for the Saints this season. For the Blueboys, he scored seven in 11 appearances. Last season, he scored six goals in 22 games for St Albans when they were in the Southern League.

Does Welch still count as injured? I understood he could be back in the team this Saturday

If he's just returned to training tonight, I suspect Saturday will be a bit too soon?

Will be interesting to see - he wasn't "injured" but was under doctors orders to rest. Even if he is 80/90% fit, I'd like to see him in goal on Saturday. His command of his area and communication with his defence, I think has been excellent - and those aren't affected by fitness.

With mjhill1967 on this one. If he is fit to return to training and has an ok from the doctor I would like to see him straight back in the side. If he was an outfield player of course I'd say otherwise but I think goalkeepers are an exception. Tom Coulton did an ok job and obviously has a lot of potential, but I personally feel a lot more comfortable watching the Saints when Joe Welch is between the sticks.

Great news. Are you able to share what positions that they play in?

I personally don't have any info yet, but from what Gray said and other hints, one may well be the ex-Wealdstone striker. Also, possibly a loan from a league club?
