Wow they have Jordan Parkes playing for them? How’s that happened?

Wow they have Jordan Parkes playing for them? How’s that happened? Probably because he's their player/coach

A good all round performance from the whole team tonight and a decent game to watch. A much better midfield showing with a mile more pace. Harry Forster again MOM with Kaloczi, Musonda and Lewis Gordon also impressing.
COYS!

According to the Herts FA website, the Final will be on 24th March at Clarence Park. However, they’be been known to change.

The Herts FA website has changed the date of the final to “tbc” but still say it will be at Clarence Park.

So it’s the Tudors in the final! We have to win for bragging rights.

It’s a shame, I was hoping we could play the Final as a pre-season game when we eventually resume, but as that could be up to a year away I guess it wasn’t a viable option.

Is this confirmed because that's not exactly what the statement released from [by] the Acting Chairman of the Competitions Committee says...

that should matter to the 30 people that go to herts senior cup games. Meaningless.

While I know the Herts Senior Cup is far less important than any other competition we enter (apart from the Herts Charity Cup, of course) I still would like to see some silverware at the club, especially as it would mean beating Hemel. I was hoping it could be staged pre-season, but since that could be up to a year away I guess it’s not practical.

The Herts Senior cup used to be a very prestigious trophy some years ago. Very often large crowds used to get to the final..Often between Saints Barnet, Hitchin, Stevenage. etc. The crowds were usually quite large, in the thousands way back . My late father had senior and charity cup medals which he was proud of. The main reason that the crowds were larger in those days was because nobody had such things as cars.. Therefore the local club was always well supported. I remember one final. Saints 6 Barnet 6 the trophy was shared. I think it may have been about 1945?? I remember a good crowd then Ah Well, Memories...
