It's got to be the end of Crawford. Edwards has at least showed some promise. Can't fault the effort shown by Crawford but he shows little goal threat.
We may as well have kept hold of Simon Thomas. Harry is definitely not an upgrade.

Harry is definitely not an upgrade. I think you could possibly be right regarding Crawfords exit, it seems unlikely he will reach that 10-12 goal mark that was spoken of after the Oxhey match. It must feel like deja vu for him after leaving B/wood due to MacDonald taking his place

www.stalbanscityfc.com/saints-sign-al-bangura/St Albans City Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of former Watford midfielder Al Bangura. Al made 62 appearances for the Hornets during a 4 year period, he then had spells at Brighton, Blackpool and Gabala respectively before joining Forest Green Rovers where he made 83 appearances. Bangura then signed for Coventry City in 2015. Speaking earlier this morning Manager Harry Wheeler said the following. “Al is another good addition to the group. He’s experienced, very professional and gives us something different. He also has a desire to go back in to the professional game and push on so we have no doubt he will give everything to be at his best for the cause whilst he’s with us”

Great signing - could be just what we need in midfield. If we can also get Oshodi back fit and MacDonald leading the line like he did on Saturday, then we have a fighting chance to get out of that bottom three. Odds still very much against us, but looks like the squad could be getting the players it needs for our battle for survival.

According to my Watford fan mate, he likes a tackle and is famous for breaking Robbie Savage's leg.

Harry is definitely not an upgrade. Promises but fails to deliver If we are talking about Edwards here, I'm not sure too many people would agree with that statement. We should also bear in mind that he only seems to get on for the last 20 or so minutes of most games, by which time they have often been lost. His goal against Maidenhead to win the game was superb piece of individualism.

Promises but fails to deliver Any more so than Louis T.? Three goals in 14 league games since the 1st October is hardly the return of a star striker, and Theo is five years older than Edwards. Edwards may not have pulled up any proverbial trees since he came here but he's got bags of potential and needs time to develop that potential.

Forwards always get the blame when they are not scoring.

Forwards always get the blame when they are not scoring. I'm not doubting that but can't the same apply to Edwards (and I am aware that you weren't criticising Edwards! )? Edit: Actually, no - cancel that. 3 goals in 14 league matches is the fault of the service? I'd dispute that as I've seen him have a couple of very good chances every game I've seen over that period, which is five home games. I agree that any striker has to have some sort of good service and I think that Theo has had sufficient for a player of his ability to have scored a lot more than three goals. Anyway, my real point is that it is easy for Hatboy to criticise a young player like Jonathan Edwards but leave someone like Theo alone when Theo has failed to deliver on a greater scale than Edwards has. Possibly for the same reasons, however the expectations for a more experienced players such as Theo are higher.

Callum Lee has joined Cockfosters on loan. That's the end of the line for him.

If it is true, then good luck to James. We are lucky that he has stayed here so long.
