I agree that we have probably been over reactionary in the past with being strict and preventing tangents, and it's definitely something we can work on.

Do you think he could do it on a cold Tuesday night in Torquay?

He doesn't have to, it's the bid that matters

Never good enough for us!! How in the actual f*ck has this guy blagged his way into a pro team scoring about 3 goals last season and looking average at best??

I agree and he had a bad attitude. Hope he has fun in Scotland.

I wonder how long he'll last up there and will he be good enough ? But not meaning to be funny or anything to Scottish Clubs, having been a Player from the Non-League in England, to end up there ??

Inih Effiong signed for Ross County from Woking in January and only made 2 appearances before being released. Can't see this going any other way.
Complete opposite to Junior who put in the hard work to get back to league football. Monlouis seems to just think he can turn up and it will happen.

Yes but now Effiong is doing well with Dover in the nl so it's not as if he's missed out on pro football in England.

I can't agree with any of this. I thought that Monlouis had a pretty good season last year. His distribution could be a bit frustrating and he tailed off like the rest of the squad but he always had a fantastic workrate and complimented Noble and Sambou perfectly.
The fact that we haven't been able to replace Monlouis is the reason why our midfield has been so poor this season. We've changed our shape to deal with this meaning that players aren't playing in their best positions.
If we're signing young players from lower league clubs to encourage them to further their careers, we can't complain when one of them does exactly that!!

I thought we have changed our shape to improve our defense and not to deal with Monlouis leaving?

Yes but of all people I don't think monlouis deserved it compared to people like merse and sol. He never thanked the fans and often didn't take responsibility in games. But still hope he does well for himself

Well l guess we'll all soon know one way or another. If he is a Centre Back perhaps he is the one coming in to replace Joseph

He plays in Midfield. Maybe Ian's decided to stick Midfielders in the back line.

As I recall, he played CB against us in the Concord away game, last season, before signing for East Thurrock in July.

So we've signed a CB who played at Concord who had a worse defence than us last season didn't they ? (I know unimaginable) and have their defensive coach with us and we have the 3rd worst defence, I wont be holding my breathe on that signing but hopefully Clovis Kamdjo will be a good addition.

Defensively Concord last season were mid-table, the problem was that they scored too few goals. Alzapiedi is an assistant manager not a coach - or a defensive coach. Coaches at this level have a limited impact as if you only train two evenings a week, you spend that time on instruction and tactical positions and approaches. You don't have the full-timers luxury of spending time on 1-to-1 coaching.
